Accountable for building customer value within the Maintenance & Service department by embedding and sustaining innovative methodologies to the planning, execution and completion phases of the maintenance process. A key focus is on ensuring the latest fit-for-purpose hardware & software technologies are leveraged by our field technicians to optimize safety, reliability, productivity and cost.

Accountable for delivery of maintenance process, system and execution improvement initiatives across all company assets including FPSO, offshore Gas Platform and LNG Plant.

Accountable for delivery of sustainable cost-optimization initiatives for pan-WEL maintenance function including: all assets, supply chain, maintenance strategy, assurance and governance.

Accountable for assurance & governance of Operations processes and systems, including: permit management system (Integrated Safe System of Work ISSoW); Operate phase of Woodside Management System (WMS).

Accountable for kicking-off and embedding the Maintenance Excellence stream of Woodside's Production Excellence program of work, with focus on improving safety, reliability and productivity (hands-on-tooltime).

Accountable for the safe and cost-effective delivery of all maintenance activities (incl. Shutdowns/Turnarounds) across the company's FPSO fleet (Northern Endeavour, Cossack Pioneer, Nganhurra, Ngujima Yin) and offshore platforms (GWA, NRA, NRB, Angel) with an FTE of approx. 400pax and $175M budget pa.Accountable for compliance to all legislative and regulatory requirements including asset Safety Case regime; development, review and update of asset Integrated Activity Plans; development of the OPEX maintenance budget; development and execution of the Maintenance Reference Plan.Responsible for developing, leading and motivating a multi-function team to achieve a safe, high performance and cost effective maintenance organisation; development and implementation of maintenance policies; ensuring a culture of continuous improvement; developing and implementing cost optimization strategies; vendor and contract management.

Provide offshore maintenance teams with planning, cost management, material service and equipment, maintenance workflow business process and CMMS (SAP) support.Accountable for the development and optimization of the offshore asset's Integrated Activity Plan; OPEX budget reporting and monitoring for all maintenance activities; resource estimation, planning and scheduling for all Core, Major and Shutdown maintenance activities; maintenance execution reporting & analysis; planning process KPI’s and compliance.

Accountable for the execution of maintenance workflow process from notification creation to work order close-out; integrating scopes of work and development plans for all assigned corrective/recurring maintenance activities; management of the OPEX maintenance budget ($45MAUD in 2010).Responsible for executing campaign maintenance and shutdown/turnaround activities across the FPSO fleet (Northern Endeavour, Nganhurra and Cossack Pioneer); generation and review of medium term maintenance plans; development of maintenance procedures and guidelines.

Accountable for the development of the CMMS Maintenance Workflow Business Process, methodology and create the organisation to support Campaign maintenance implementation philosophy across FPSO fleet.

Accountable for the coordination, management and delivery of all activities for the major annual Shut Down of FPSO Cossack Pioneer.

Began employment as Fifth Engineer Officer and achieved rank of Chief Engineer, serving aboard various coastal and international-trading marine-fleet vessels including: Ro-Ro Container & Passenger, Cellular Container (incl. integrated, plug-in & clip-on refrigerated), Gearless & Self-discharging Bulk, Oil & Product Tanker.

Three year full time Australian Maritime College (AMC, Launceston, Tasmania)i-based study program with one year marine-fleet assignment incorporating practical competency assessment.
