Mr. Wilmot is a founding Partner of Babcock Holloway Caldwell & Stires, a firm arising from the San Diego office of HWB. Mr. Wilmot has handled maritime and Jones Act cases involving vessels from around the world, including seaman personal injury, death on the high seas, jurisdiction, and choice of law issues. He also handles inland marine and trucking cases throughout California.Mr. Wilmot also has extensive experience in the development of aviation Risk Management Plans and Accident Response Plans and has assisted many operators in the areas of Airport Liability, Premises Liability, Hangarkeepers Liability, and Products Liability. Mr. Wilmot has a thorough understanding of FAA regulations and has been involved in aircraft accident investigations as well as airmen and medical certificate appeals and hearings. In addition, Mr. Wilmot has worked with flight departments to assure they operate with adequate types of insurance coverage.Along with maritime, aviation, and trucking, Mr. Wilmot has been involved in the healthcare field negotiating professional service contracts for physicians and consulting for the merger and acquisition of medical practices and facilities.
