Hi there!I closed my Experimac Store in January of 2019. After 3 years of “fighting the beast” I decided to cut my losses and run. I have no regrets from this endeavor...... I learned a lot, met some awesome customers, and I acquired some pretty good troubleshooting skills and micro soldering skills along the way. That being said, with Apple forcing a name change for the franchise and not seeing a path forward to make a meaningful living running the store, I made a decision to change careers once again. I enrolled in 160 Truck Driving Academy in March of 2019 and acquired my Class A CDL with tanker and doubles/triples endorsements in April of 2019. With my new license in hand, I headed to Cuba Alabama for flatbed training with McElroy Truck Lines. I hired on with McElroy in May of 2019, and I completed my extensive training in June of 2019. My first truck was a very nice shiny red 2018 International LT complete with Cummins engine.......now fast forward to 2021, I just picked up my brand new 2022 International complete with the Cummins X-15 motor (sweet ride)!!!I really am enjoying my new found career——the only drawback is being gone from home throughout the week, but the redeeming factor is having a great company to work for that gets you home EVERY weekend!
