Assigned JPM for the Manufacture and Introduction stage of the Class 385 fleet into passenger service operation on ScotRail.Managing the project team, and having a close relationship with the Train Manufacturer (Hitachi) and Train Owner (Caledonian Rail Leasing), I was tasked with overseeing the following stages: - Design Stage - Manufacture Stage - Testing and Approvals - Safety Validation - Vehicle Change Process - Staff Training Programme - Introduction into Passenger ServicePost Introduction, my main role was to migrate across to the BAU side of ScotRail and oversee the day-to-day operations and manage the TSA contract. Further responsibilities involved overseeing the team managing all technical changes, legacy Provisional, Final and Fleet Acceptance activities and close out of warranty requirements.
