Please allow us to share our story with you...After working at successful careers in healthcare both of us moved to Southwest Florida in 2014 to work together to provide a service that would allow us to give back to the community. Married for over 20+ years with the responsibility of looking after our senior parents, we had the opportunity to observe the caliber of care that our loved ones received when we could not be with them. We were counting on “others” to make sure our parents were safe and , comfortable. We were disappointed in the feedback from our parents, and we never really found a sense of respite care, or someone we could count on. Instead, we learned that our parents were not given the most courteous attention they deserved. Needless to say… we were let down. It was then that we explored the possibility of owning our own homecare company… one in which we could feel proud to say that we treat all customers with dignity. We realized early on that each and every client we are caring for or looking after are your loved ones after all and they deserve the very best care possible. We knew at once that home health care could and should be done better and that we could make a huge difference. We found our calling! We searched up and down the Southwest Florida coast for the perfect home healthcare business. We interviewed and evaluated several existing home healthcare agencies and franchises. We unanimously decided that Visiting Angels Punta Gorda, North Ft. Myers, and Cape Coral was the place we had been called to! We fell in love with Visiting Angels! The Visiting Angel's mission, professionalism, and dedication to the community and population they serve were second to none. We are now living our dream making a difference in our clients and their families lives!
