My journey in full-time ministry began at the age of 19 when I moved to Switzerland to work at the printing factory of an international children's organisation. Four years later I moved to Germany to study Theology, followed by 6 years as a local church Pastor in my home country of Northern Ireland. In 2007, my family and I relocated to Germany, where I spent eight impactful years with CEF Europe. From initially providing resources and training for ministry to teenagers, I transitioned to leading the training department for Western Europe. In the final two years, I focused on leadership development, creating a 2-week intensive leadership training program which has been used to train leaders from 190 countries.My conviction in the importance of making disciples through the local church led me to Acts 29 Europe in 2016. With Acts 29's mission of recruiting, assessing, training, and supporting leaders to plant new churches worldwide, I found alignment with both my personal and professional values. From 2020-23, I embraced an enhanced role as the Director of Global Operations. Then in 2024 I joined the team at Verbum Medien, a young non-profit publishing company, who strive to produce media (books, e-books and audiobooks) in the German language that both honour God and serves His church.Outside the professional realm, I am not just an operations director; I love the great outdoors and every opportunity to go trail-running. Moreover, I actively serve my community as a volunteer firefighter (crew commander) and a Critical Incident Counsellor with the German Red Cross. In 2018, I acquired German citizenship while proudly maintaining my British ties.My diverse skill set includes project management, process optimization, assessment, leadership development, preaching, pastoral care, and critical incident counselling.
