As the acting Operations Manager I oversee all aspects of our 16 employee machine shop. We are AS9100-C approved. Our product mix is diverse with a mixture of commercial castings and Aerospace hardware. I report directly to our owner/president and oversee all day to day activities listed below.Manufacturing planning, Operational planning, Sales planning, Sales Forecasts, Capacity Planning, Budgeting, Accounting, Customer Service, Quoting, Shipping/Receiving, Quality, Human Resources.

Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Customer Service, Production Level Loading, Master Scheduling, Load Capacity Management, Sales Demand Forecasting, Make vs. Buy Analysis, Logistics, Setting Standard Order Quantities, Outside Processing Management, Maintaining daily relationships with Vendors, Export control, TIB import control, Forecast analysis, Sales Order Entry, Customer requests, Expediting, Shipment SchedulingDirect contact with European and Canadian customers. Responsibilities: Accounts Payable; Managed production accounts and tracked overhead costs, Vouchered invoices, issued check disbursements, check maintenance. Accounts Receivable; Cash application to sales orders, reviewed overdue payments. Outside Services; Managed all process out side of plant, and maintained relationship with outside vendors. Reporting; Provided reports to the finance department for the following accounts; Inventory, small tools, utilities, rent, leases and rentals, supplies, internal company transactions.

During each shift I was in one of our six departments and was responsible for a team of up to six employees. I provided service to customers, supervised closing activities.
