Maintain backups, install executables, write SQL queries and PL/SQL programs, give SQL assistance to developers, debug database problems, enroll new users, maintain database creation scripts, and develop forms for data entry. Specifically:- Perform as Database Administrator for the Data Product Development Environment (DPDE); the Army C4ISR and Simulation Initialization System (ACSIS) Project; the McCreary, Veselka, Bragg, and Allen (MVBA) Law Firm Project; the Army Battle Command Systems Integration (ABCSI) Project; and the Fire Support Automated Test System (FSATS) Project - Upgrade Oracle executables and data to Oracle7, Oracle8, Oracle9i, Oracle10g, and Oracle11g- Check database tuning strategies to improve overall performance- Develop sponsor requirements into detailed database specifications and load scripts and APIs to populate and synchronize databases across numerous platforms

Design and update data models, check data models against database schema, maintain Subject Areas, and generate data dictionary. Specifically:- Maintain ACSIS data model and check its consistency with the database schema- Extend ACSIS data model with pieces of C2IEDM data model to produce a Coalition Battle Management Language (C-BML) data model, including domains and validations.

- Write and tune SQL queries and PL/SQL programs, check database consistency, and provide SQL and PL/SQL instruction for others. - Write PL/SQL code generation scripts, to quickly produce PL/SQL APIs for new data models and programs to expand unit, billet, and equipment force structure data in ACSIS- Write SQL queries to extract reports and compare data in various databases
