Gary Reynolds has built Fieldcast, a new podcast media network. FieldCast develops secure private podcasting for corporate clients that engage, inform and inspire sales, marketing and operations teams.Prior to Fieldcast, Gary Reynolds founded GMR Marketing in 1979 through his passion for music. He started with the idea to bring bands and brands together staging events around the performances of emerging artists. That program, known as the Band Network, was sponsored by Miller Brewing Company. Band Network is linked to many successful artists and personalities including Chad Smith (Chili Peppers), The Del Fuegos, The Waitresses, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, among others. In 1987, Gary created one of the first daily electronic news services for his client, Apple Computer. Three years before the internet was created, Gary developed a joint venture between Apple and USA Today (Gannett) to deliver news to campus newspapers across the US.Gary is widely recognized by the event marketing industry and media as the Father of Experiential Marketing. For over four decades, Gary led GMR to pioneer and set standards for brands reaching and influencing consumers through experiential passions in sports, music, and entertainment. Gary sold GMR to Omnicom in 1997 to become a cornerstone of the Holding company’s integrated marketing services. By 2000, Gary formed a holding company within Omnicom called Radiate Group, and went on to acquire 23 agencies globally that served as Omnicom’s primary experiential and digital agency services. In 2008, Gary launched Banshee Music (now Pubcom Music) to redefine the way brands integrate music into the marketing mix.
