Created and spearheaded a growth initiative that was selected as one of only two investment initiatives across the entire $400M/yr company. Grew a globally distributed agile development team from 20 to 30 people and worked closely with the FBI, NSA, and other defense departments to automatically extract entities from free form text to form events for automatic tracking of suspicious activity. Highly scalable products built using a C++ codebase with IIS/nginx as the web server, Angular for the frontend, proprietary search technology for the backend, Spark/Storm for distributed pipeline processing, and various open source technologies used for content analytics: NLTK, Stanford NLP, Tika, Tesseract, Zookeeper, OpenCV, and AeroText.
