Searching for next employment opportunity as well as training and volunteer work. Currently pursuing a CompTIA A+ self study course. Recently completed a Cisco Certified Network Associate boot camp class. Started working one day per week in May of 2009 as a volunteer IT Specialist at Corner Elementary School.

Primary responsibilities included working with Electronic Data Systems (EDS) and American Telephone and Telegraph (AT&T) to design, recommend, and implement data storage solutions based on customer objectives and business requirements. Also supported a Secondary Storage Services contract with EDS, which provided a 20+ million annual revenue stream to Sun.

Provided post-sales software support to StorageTek customers and Customer Service Engineers within the state of Alabama. This involved troubleshooting problems when requested to determine if primary cause was related to a software or hardware issue. Escalate to software/product support when necessary and manage the issue until a resolution was reached..

Utilized training and experience on StorageTek equipment to provide hardware support services to 36 - 42 customers and 11 customer service engineers in the Alabama territory. Sixteen customers and four Customer Service Engineers were located in the remote cities of Huntsville and Montgomery. Hardware problems not resolved by the CSE in two hours were.

Maintained StorageTek equipment at several large accounts in Birmingham, Al. Responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance as well as achieving excellent customer relationships and satisfaction.
