In 1985, Gary established Gary Hamm & Associates, Inc. After three and one-half years of developing clients and building the business, Gary Hamm & Associates merged with Witt Associates, the largest search firm serving the healthcare industry, to assist in building their western region healthcare practice. Gary remained with the firm for eleven years as a Vice President and Partner. In 1999, Gary founded Healthcare Placement Group, Inc., with offices in southern California and Chicago and a practice devoted exclusively to healthcare.Gary has led over four hundred search assignments for healthcare systems, hospitals, managed care and insurance companies, physician group practices, consulting firms, and other healthcare corporations in urban and rural markets throughout the United States.For four and one-half years prior to establishing Gary Hamm & Associates, Inc., Gary was the Western Regional Sales Manager for the international firm of Neles, OY, an industrial products manufacturer. Previously, Gary was a Regional Sales Representative for A.W.C., Inc., a national-based distribution company, as well as Jensen Instruments, a California-based distribution firm. Prior to working in sales, Gary played professional baseball and football.Gary is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Healthcare Financial Management Association, Medical Group Management Association, American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration, and The Institute for Diversity in Health Management.
