In February 2014 I returned to my alma mater, Wilmington College, as its Website and Social Media manager. I was immediately tasked with managing the creation and launch of WC’s new external website (www.wilmington.edu). I was involved in every step of this process including, but not limited to; determining an appropriate timeline and ensuring key dates were met within that timeline as well as ensuring a pleasant user experience with site design, layout and functionality. During this process, I also enlisted a group of key stakeholders across campus from which I gained insight in order to ensure all their needs were met with the new site. The new site was launched in January 2015. Daily duties now includ ensuring site content is up to date as well as using Google Analytics to analyze site traffic and data.Upon my hiring, I was also given full control over WC’s social media presence. While I inherited WC’s Facebook and Twitter accounts, I also implemented Instagram and Snapchat and began to use these in conjunction with Facebook and Twitter. Since my hiring, Facebook likes have increased 234% while twitter followers have increased 183%. Wilmington College’s Instagram account has just crossed 1,400 followers as of January 2016. (Wilmington College currently has a student population of 1,100 students).I am also a member of the Wilmington College brand committee. Along with the Director of Public Relations, I am tasked with maintaining the strength of the WC brand. This includes, but is not limited to, logo usage and application, color usage and how the college is discussed in verbal conversations.

Performed extensive marketing research to find ways for Swindler & Sons Florists to increase sales and customer interaction. During this time, my team conducted secondary research, an observation of competitors operations, a focus group, and created a online survey that was distributed to citizens of Clinton County. Results have so far included an overhaul of the company's website to make it more user friendly as well as a returned focus to the company's social media use to increase company-customer interaction.This was a non-paid position and was conducted in collaboration with the Marketing Research class at Wilmington College.

During my time at Snow Hill I progressed from handling behind the scenes tasks such as golf cart upkeep and bag storage to direct interaction with members in the Pro Shop.My time at Snow Hill taught me how to interact with customers in a professional manner, provide excellent customer service, and handle transactions. I helped set-up and run many member events as well as corporate outings.
