Project Manager
CurrentResponsibilities: • Manage low, medium, and high complex projects in Sydney Water South in collaboration with RDC in accordance with NEC4.• Concurrently run multiple projects across both Networks and treatment. Total value of all Projects is around $125M approved budget and $160M project value – 27 Projects and 21 MPM Projects.• Few Projects are highlighted below. o High Complex Projects currently managing – Bondi WWRF OOPS Renewal - $43M, Sylvania vacuum system (450 properties) and pumping station Upgrade - $25M. o Medium Complex – Illawarra PST’s upgrade - $12M, Bundeena Vacuum System upgrade (400 properties) - $7M, Bondi WWRF Low Head Pump renewal - $7M.• Conduct regular meetings with the project stakeholders to resolve design issues and make sure the stage 2 target cost build-ups are accurate to avoid cost overrun in stage 2.• Ensure the projects risks are captured, and quantitative assessment completed to ensure right contingency are there in delivery stage.• Ensure project schedules are developed with TRA, identify critical path and float items are captured to ensure time extensions are only for critical path task delays.Achievements• Managing High complex- Very High-Risk project (Bondi Effluent Pump Renewal) stage 1 lasted for a year along with interim site work to mitigate immediate operational risks. DABC value $43m approved in Oct 2023 and Delivery is planned to complete by 2027. • Set-up TSC project process and help start RDC’s minor works team. This includes contract management, claim process, PO process etc. Clear timeline for all TSC projects to ensure RDC resources are in an optimal level.• Set-up MPM Process and resolved multiple issues and help form RDC MPM team. Improved from 4 assets delivered in 2020 to 90% complete in 2024. • Handle large number of projects across multiple WWRF and Network sites.
