    I have worked for Chivas Brothers for 7 years in Finance working in accounts payable fristly as a processor then after 2 years i took on the role as Accounts Payable Team Leader and the role included ..- Co-ordinate the work of the Accounts Payable Team with regards to workload , priorities , deadlines for payment runs and Accounting timetables .- Review of suppliers Statement reconciliations performed by the team and prompt follow up of open items to resolution .- Preperation of weekly / monthly performace metrics re invoice throughput , backlog , payments and exceptions. Publish regular updates on supplier Debit Balances , prepayments and held items .- Responsible for ensuring the correct Vat treatment was used when processing invoices and making payments. Over the 4 yaers in the Team Leaders role i have been involved in a number of different initiatives form Self-Billing , the testing training and implementation of this , also Supply Chain Finance which involved liasing with the bank (Lloyds) to deligating testing and implementation to the live system for Chivas Brothers (Oracle E1) .I have been involved in internal training over the past 4 years delivering trainging over various parts of the business from Marketing to Stores with training on Accounts payable policy and procedure to system training for both current employees and newstarts for sites all over the UK .In my role i deal with a supplier base of over 2500 active/approved suppliers with over 85,000 invoices being handled on an anual basis.Part of the role included employee development , looking at releveant training courses tailored to suit induvidual requirements and i have had to take the lead role in doing team performance reviews 1/2 yearly and end of year reviews .
