Changes were done with an eye to not impact other active projects. To keep costs down, offsite training was given to individuals with the ability to turn around and teach others. This was done with several key technologies – Informatica, SharePoint and Callidus. Total trained in house: 70. Technical expansion occurred without resource growth. Focus was placed on training, cross-training, optimizing team sizes, retraining based on growing technologies and shrinking legacy systems. Team sizes for legacy systems were reduced by 66% while new teams went from non-existent to 5 and 6 members.
