Contract Project work - fixed project.Extended my stay at EECA on a fixed term contract to look into capital and carbon opportunities across the Health Boards in NZ. This included working with them to gauge level of new energy plant, carbonmeasurements and new infrastructure and building spends. The goal was to create a best practice guideline for efficient buildings and plant moving ahead. I had direct engagement with project and energy and sustainability teams to rank and progress effective carbon reductions and energy efficiency opportunities including transport. Primarily I focused on the healthcare sector - in particular the District Health Boards. The outcome was a database of opportunities and sector driven focus areas for future carbon reductions including better building design and staff engagement.

This has been accomplished through virtualisation (cloud based solutions), web versions and new channels to market incl international markets. A key part of my role was to improve the use of technology to enhance our distribution and communication. Wizard Home Loans was a specialised finance company owned by GE money and Australasia’s largest non-bank lender for home finance. My role was to manage a large team of support office personnel in charge of the distribution channel. This included acquisition, business development, training, marketing, sales, operations, performance and ongoing support of a 45 branch franchised distribution network for financial products including home loans, personal lending, insurance, commercial lending & other financial instruments. I was responsible for growth in branch numbers, coverage of the NZ market & franchise efficiency with over 1.5Bn in assets. Marketing was a core focus: strategy, the creation & development of TVC’s, new agency agreements, major sports sponsorship liaison, direct marketing, CRM initiatives, website lead volumes & branding. Worked with my team of sales staff to generate sales programs, mini-incentives and plans to ensure attention for conversion rates, retention and sales process improvements.With integration with our parent company – there was a change of distribution model & my role was consolidated as the company was sold.
