Production ManagementReceive acquired data from the QC group and confirm quality and completeness.Review client needs and project expectations with GDI Project Manager.Receive instruction on project priorities from Production Manager.Organize project components and workflow, establishing deadlines for various steps or tasks to project completion; identifying resources required.Ensure initial production steps completed by subcontractor by communicating project specs and schedule, answering technical questions and monitoring progress.Assigns production tasks and timelines to Data Analysts and monitors progress.Manages day to day operational aspects of the project, ensuring correct procedures and steps are followed, project specifications are met and quality and timelines are achieved.Maintains communication with GDI Project Manager on status of project.Troubleshoots problems in data or in production, reports issues as required.Liaises with GDI technical teams on internally developed software and other tools; writes technical manuals as needed.Upon project completion, completes final quality and deliverables checks.Closes project by uploading the finished product and notifying GDI Project Manager that it is available for the client2. Product TrackingSet up new projects in internal Production databaseUpdate project tracking and status records for assigned projectsComplete weekly project status reports for each project Update production tracking sheets with task completions and deliverables Update production tracking database with available work in real time 3. TrainingAssist in training Data Analysts in new roles, with new deliverables or on new methodologyAssist in cross-training peers and other team members on individual areas of expertise
