My success is driven by my focus and ability to lead the development of machine learning and the cloud platform we developed in GCP to meet the needs at Disney theme park ride maintenance using end to end predictive ML. With a focus on predictive machine learning, it’s useful model training & implementation to then serving the necessary data output to predict machine/ride repair window ahead of breakdowns, our team at Maven Wave had been pivotal in transforming business uptime at Theme parks and maintenance process of rides at Disney. We were able to create a prototype to make it an easy to implement breakdown prediction, using collected streaming data and the machine’s historical data from IOT devices; implemented on GCP cloud. We then migrated one ride after another to this end to end machine learning platform to help with theme park ride maintenance and repair predictions. Eventually transitioning over the platform to Disney with training and shadow support. Also solved complex data and software solutions by simplifying working with many versions, decommissioning old software and management of and software implemented for use organization wide in AWS cloud environments. Example of software include Kafka, Docker and terraform etc needing implementation of lean DevOps and agile management.Past experience as Data Quality Manager was at Carpe Data was with projects to harness alternative data scraped data from social and professional media websites, and then processed through proprietary developed techniques, and pipelines using scala language and spark framework, to help significantly enhance underwriting, claims, and book assessment operations with patterns in Insurance industry.As a leader also pioneered the inception, pitch and implementation of Snowflake Cloud as a data warehouse and live/quick query tool at Carpe Data using AWS storage, to fully replace Athena, Glue and fraction of Postgres use case to save immense time and money (reduced by half or more) in medium and long term. Alongside had direct reports to mange work, program/project output and career development of individuals at Carpe data.
