This includes facilitating strong strategic partnerships with government, NGOs, corporations and other stakeholders and building awareness of TRI’s work and nurture relationships to lead its work.Key responsibilities under this assignment include:-• Focal point for integrating and holding all ground operations/ engagements of the organization across TRI intervention states by providing strategic guidance to State Leads in five states to ensure process fidelity and quality assurance;• Leading organization’s partnership with the State Government, including the development of a formal partnership, translation of MoU’s (with State Govt.) intent into reality and aligning embedded teams in the government with the organization’s mission and goals;• Leading state level strategy formulation in consultation with the Central Unit; • Building, nurturing and mentoring the State and ground operations team; • Facilitating and managing the interface between Central Unit and the State team; • Grant management; develop qualitative reports for consumption of donors and various stakeholder, periodic review of financial reports/burn rate and any other assurances required at donor end.• Overseeing and ensuring various administrative requirements relating to the operations of the organization in the states;• Contributing and anchoring internal culture building, institution development;• Creating space and identity for the organization at various forums;

Led a team of professionals and consultants to achieve project deliverables in time bound manner with quality assurance;2. Developed and rolled out program implementation design that strategically involves and provides ownership to government stakeholders to ensure sustainability; 3. Established partnership with various Stake holders particularly Government of Uttar Pradesh on the development and implementation of state work plans;4. Varanasi Area, India

Following an integrated approach, this project was designed in a way to address various dimensions of women’s empowerment i.e. social, economic, political and legal in selected districts of eastern Uttar Pradesh. As project lead for economic empowerment portfolio for the project, key accomplishments were as follows:1. Led operations of economic empowerment portfolio of the project and supported five women led producer companies;2. Developed and rolled out capacity building and training plan for 50,000 women on five value chains for economic empowerment.3. Ensured compliance and overall results monitoring and management of KPI’s under the portfolio including sustainability plans and/ or exit strategies;4. Commissioned feasibility studies, business planning and market research to support women’s groups in their economic activities;5. Provided technical and sector-wise advice to technical resource agencies on key livelihood and enterprise development strategies; 6. Provided inputs to standard reports and coordinated as well as oversaw projects financial management, including developing the work plans and budget;

The project aimed at capacity building of Elected Representatives (ERs) of Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs). As State head for Uttar Pradesh, following were the key accomplishments under the direct supervision and leadership of Principal Secretary, Department of Panchayati Raj (DoPR), GoUP:-1. Organized Training Needs Assessment (TNA) and reviewed existing Capacity Building and Training (CB&T) materials to develop need based training modules; 2. Developed State specific core course content for Panchayti Raj Institution for CB&T interventions. (These course books have been further used by State Department as reference material for developing need based training modules/ participants reference material)3. Rendered policy development and advocacy support to the State Department of Panchayati Raj by developing ‘Detailed Project Report (DPR) for establishing Panchayati Raj Institute for Training’;4. Commissioned a study on ‘Capacity Assessment of the State to Develop Capacity Development Strategy for providing training to 100% ERs of PRIs’. This includes capacity assessment of available network of “State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD)” Department of Rural Development-GoUP, its 18 RIRDs and 32 DIRDs.5. Developed strategy and systems to help state government roll out Public Private Partnership (PPP) model for training to 100% ERs (approx. 7.75 Lakh in number) for PRIs. This helped state government to complete training of approx. 0.8 million PRI representatives post first year of elections. 6. The DoPR-GoUP has continued with this model in the following years for training of PRIS in the state. The PPP model was much appreciated and recommended by Central Ministry of Panachayti Raj and was as such adopted by other states such as Jammu & Kashmir. 7. Provided inputs to standard reports and coordinated as well as oversaw projects financial management, including developing the work plans and budget;

Dindori, Mandla, Bhopal

MPRLP (now converged with NRLM) was a participatory, sustainable rural livelihoods development project for tribal's, with a focus on gender and poverty in nine predominantly tribal districts of Madhya Pradesh in Central India. The project aimed to strengthen the concept of 'Gram Swaraj'& PRIs. The MPRL project was funded by Department for International Development (DFID), UK and implemented by Department of Panchayat and Rural Development, Government of Madhya Pradesh. As a team leader for the project in the district, key accomplishments have been described below:-1. Efficiently managed and led a team of about 80 multi-disciplinary professionals to achieve project's goal and successfully brought qualitative changes in the lives of approx 45,500 households;2. Successfully identified and initiated income generation activity in project villages through SHGs, JLGs & CIGs;3. Successfully converged resources from Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) and provided end to end solution for improving livelihoods of tribal community. 4. The infrastructure created by using resources available under MGNREGS were provided with logical sustainability plan by creating organic linkages with other central/state sponsored schemes. 5. The “Integrated Agriculture Development Plan” (IADP) developed by us was presented before the State Planning Commission and was appreciated and recommended by the members of commission;6. Developed and rolled out training and capacity building calendar for strengthening local self governance through PRIs and strengthening livelihoods of the targeted community.

The WIRF project was a Participatory Sustainable Rural Livelihood Development Project with a focus on Gender and Poverty for poor tribal's in Central India. The project was funded by Department for International Development (DFID), UK and implemented by Gramin Vikas Trust, unit promoted by fertilizer company KRIBHCO. 1. Administration of 13 MoUs signed with State Agriculture Universities of MP, Gujarat & Rajasthan on Participatory Technology development. 2. Disseminated projects experiences in the area of participatory sustainable rural livelihood development approaches to various Government and Non-Government agencies through seminars, workshops, exchange of newsletters etc.3. Established and maintained a wider interface between the community and the project team, facilitated project activities in the villages.4. Motivated, organized and mentored village level CBOs, particularly SHGs for entrepreneurship development. 5. Provided continuous feedback on social and technical progress indicators, and helped farmers observe and record change in their fields by themselves through participatory practices.
