As National Team Leader for Technical Support Group (TSG) of National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) (Apex Govt of India body working for HIV/AIDS Prevention in India under MoHFW) based out of New Delhi, India, I have headed the National Condom Promotion Program (NCPP) worth $ 40 million. The program focuses on ensuring accessibility and availability of condoms through behavior change communication activities (demand generation activities) for core, bridge and general population for prevention of HIV/AIDS and unwanted pregnancies.•Provide leadership to the condom promotion program under National AIDS Control Plan (NACP) of NACO. •Coordinate and ensure high quality capacity building/technical assistance to implementing partners, including government agencies and community based organizations (CBOs). •Contribute toward the implementation of effective health communications to increase knowledge of HIV prevention•Conceptualize, Implemented, monitored and evaluated the condom promotion program for NACO. •Establish synergies and linkages between Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), National Rural Health Mission (NRHM), NACO, State AIDS Control Societies (SACS) and other stakeholders to align the condom promotion activities.•Work in close coordination with other divisions of NACO, UN agencies like UNAIDS, UNICEF, UNDP, UNFPA for effective collaboration of program activities.•Networking with different govt. ministries for mainstreaming of condom promotion. Have been part of Inter-ministerial conference on HIV/AIDS.•Build and lead national team of experts in product distribution, marketing, communication, research, finance and contracting. •Designed and manage overall condom promotion program budget for NACO. •I have successfully implemented five phases of this program with 100% achievements of all program deliverables.

The earlier system was a simple excel sheet which used to come at the end of the month making it difficult to track performance and take corrective action in time.•Ensure necessary operational support to launch and positioning of new HIV prevention products and/or services.
