I am part of the Equity and Environment Team in the Office for Sustainability. I work with UVA and the Charlottesville community, focusing on environmental justice and the intersection between the environmental and social issues. I create social media graphics, contact and work with non-profits, work in a team to put on several events a semester, and assist with many sustainability events at UVA.

In this position, I taught children about various subjects relating to the environment. This involved interacting with animals and the outdoors , working with a team of educators, teaching ages 3-12, being knowledgeable about many environmental concepts involving water sources, animals, plants, etc. I was either partnered with a full-time educator for a week of camp or the head teacher of a camp with another part-time worker.
