• Powrahs are basically hand tool used for wide range of application from agricultural field to construction purposes.• My work there, was to optimized the weight and dimension in order to make it good for construction purposes.• I also suggested change regarding in material composition and heat-treatment in order to increase its toughness without too much decrease in strength.• As a part of internship program, I was also part of team who did market survey and interact with customers, and contractor in order to study their preference with respect of powrah.
