I as Performance Footwear Merchandiser Manager was responsible for the successful execution and implementation of the Performance Footwear Merchandise function. In order to drive the Country Range and Plan for the achievement of maximum sell-through results, in order to achieve Financial Targets that are aligned with the Regional and Global Brand Strategy.Duties Included:• Manage the Annual Merchandising Strategy Initiative and Plan through the relevant seasonal product range selection. • Accurate forecasting of seasonal ranges to Sales Budget.• Achieve Input (Gross Margin) on Seasonal Line-lists (market relevant prices).• Achieve commonality and alignment of the regional product range with India and Far East (range and forecast).• Manage the development of local product.• Manage and select the Country Product Assortment Range in order to achieve the Seasonal Merchandising Strategy and Plan. The Performance Footwear Merchandiser Manager is accountable for local assortment execution and providing a Country (DC-Account-Consumer) relevant Business Unit assortment. Ensuring seasonal product requirements are met.• Execute the Local Divisional Merchandising Plan in order to achieve the Regional Objectives.• Provide timeous market feedback of the Brand and Competitors to the Regional Merchandising Team, including local price information, additional material and product samples.• Support Sales Team with Key Account Sell-ins and Sales Tools.• Produce Divisional Merchandise Business Reports.• Attending international product conference and sales conference.• Selecting and developing ranges for the South African market.• Compiling reports, stock on hand reports, opportunity buy reports, purchase order and budget reports.• Planning and presenting merchandise forecasts to global headquarters.• Compiling market feedback planning reports.• Creating presentations for sales conferences (local sales agents).• Compiling buy plans and price lists
