Lead Developer
CurrentHave held multiple different roles during my time at Kineo. Current role since 2021 is Lead Developer in the Learning Platforms team. Dual role as UK Development team lead and Lead Developer on global product. Work closely with product owner to deliver best-fit solutions that are maintainable and extendable. Client-facing role with line management and mentoring responsibilities. Provide technical leadership, taking a collaborative approach with open communication and encouraging collective problem solving.Joined as Senior Developer on the Learning Content team when the company was still in start-up mode and embarking on a rapid expansion. Was responsible for developing Kineo’s bespoke eLearning offering and growing the development team. Lead architect/lead developer of MVC eLearning content framework (built in Flash ActionScript 3). Worked on Adapt Learning open source JavaScript framework, ensuring it was production ready for client projects. Grew the team through hiring, training & mentoring of junior developers. Other projects included tools development, mobile app, gamified eLearning. Transitioned across to Senior Developer role in the Learning Platforms team in 2014.
