started my career as a filing clerk, finished my matric at night school, worked as a creditors clerk and office manager before switching to stock control in the carpet industry. Retrenched when the company closed and started a novelty printing business, most of my raw materials was imported from the UK and USA and when the Rand went belly up to the dollar and pound, I closed that business. Worked as a Warehouse Manager at Bonwit, where I achieved huge success as a peoples person yet achieving huge success with the Senior Management in efficiency within my department, servicing multiple Design Studios. Moved to Naartjie Clothing under the, then, South African owners, worked there as a stock Controller/IT Manager (Studied Microsoft Certified System Administrator - sadly never sat the exam. Left in Feb 2004 and started First Access IT Solutions - multiple it solutions. Effectively stopped trading in 2018 when I suffered a stroke and was home doing small IT tasks until I started at Simpletech in Feb 2019. Been here since then. I have normal function except for the occasional nerve-jump in my left knee (lol). Reason for seeking a new jump as the low salary I currently earn as well as lack of Job Satisfaction. - How I see myself - I am currently nearing the end of my working years and wish to share the knowledge that experience and age has taught me over the years, whilst always open to learn new things. I am all about the younger folks growth and do not care for racial / gender or ethnic discrimination, I believe in an equal opportunity for all. I love life. Happy life, happy people. I am a dad of 4 children, Eldest son lives and works in Ireland, my only daughter and other 2 sons live with me. Youngest son is ONlY 3 years old, "laat lametjie" Lol.
