As an intern at Spin Zone I was able to work directly with the owner and manager, which allowed me to have a very in-depth view of the daily operations as well as learning about break even points and how to successfully manage inventory. While working there I had to build personal relationships with long-term customers to help ensure that they still felt welcomed and cared for.

As a Bike technician I had to manage a inventory of customer bikes awaiting repairs as well as helping the front of house with incoming customers that needed a range of assistance. I had to be prepared to fix customer bikes on a dime to get them turned around and out the door happy. I also had to be prepared to play a sales role at a moments notice. That varied from talking through products on the shelf such as accessories and clothing, to talking through a wide range of bicycles with customers and getting them setup on test rides.
