Visitors to the theme park will be enthralled by some of the attractions that include action, animation and sci-fi genres and incorporate spectacular special effects from the films. ► Hands on role leading a team of 26 across construction and overseeing project budget of $65M USD. Other duties include but are not limited to:• Manage contracting personnel across the end to end construction and handover.• Oversee scheduling, master planning via MS Project and cost control.• Ensure effective leadership, risk management, project methodologies and business planning.• Create material submissions for projects and issue to client for review. • Prepare method statements for major tasks and manage QA/QC.• Adhere to, promote and drive all statutory and regulatory OHS&E procedures.• Create and submit calls for tender. Project: MAPS Theme Park Malaysia, RM520 Million| Poised as Asia's First Animation Theme Park, Perak, Movie Animation Park Studios (MAPS) is set to be the most exciting dream destination for everyone. It has over 40 attractions in 6 thematic zones. ► Led all themed environments in 6 thematic zones, completed fit outs and finishing along with associated facades. Main scope of role included:• Project Management (initiation, planning, executing, controlling and close off of project) of two World Class Waterparks, from initial capacity studies, through to planning and construction. • Prepare and monitor the master program and procurement and trade letting schedule and monitor the Construction Managers progress against the critical path. • Preparing micro-programs, fabrication programs and casting schedules to monitor complex major tasks. • Reporting to directors monthly through a project status report including budget and forecast report and project status update. • Oversee construction activities through the Construction Manager and Supervisors.Key Achievements:✔Established and implemented a database management program and successfully led the team in meeting all project deadlines.

Project: River Safari Singapore Zoological Gardens, S$160M | River-themed zoo and aquarium located in Singapore. Built over 12 hectares (30 acres) and nestled between its two counterparts, the Singapore Zoo and the Night Safari. It is the first of its kind in Asia and features freshwater attractions and river boat rides as its main highlights. The safari has an expected visitor rate of 820,000 people yearly.► Led all themed environments, fit outs, finishing, facades, structural steel and facility. • Project Management and Art Direction (initiation, planning, executing, controlling and close off of project) for the Rivers of the World, all exhibits including the Manatee Tank, the Amazon Quest, the India Ganges, the Panda Enclosure, etc. • Managed works from commencement of the project right through to completion of project and handover to the Client, Wildlife Reserves Singapore. • Prepared method statements for the major tasks and manage QA/QC documentation to maintain the companies quality standards. • The project team consisted of 40 general workers and 25 skilled artists, whilst controlling and giving direction to all sub-contractors and vendors. • Managed variation order and contract additions and omissions to ensure the projects bottom line was maintained and improved.• Ensured that risks threatening the projects successful delivery were identified, assessed and controlled.Key Achievements:✔ Hired and trained four new team members based on predicted project requirements which was integral in ensuring the project was completed as per schedule and plan.

Project: Hong Kong Ocean Park, Polar Adventure , HKD $55 Million | Polar Adventure was opened on 13 July 2012, featuring the North Pole Encounter, South Pole Spectacular and Arctic Fox Den, as well as the Arctic Blast roller coaster. Animals include king penguins, southern rockhopper penguins, gentoo penguins, pacific walruses, spotted seals, Steller sea lions, snowy owls and Arctic foxes. The attraction's carbon footprint is reduced through environmental technology including a ventilation system that recycles residual cool air to cool down the Life Support System (LSS) and plant room area before being discharged, which it is claimed cut electricity consumption by a third. • Undertaking of all spray mortar and shotcrete related items on our scope of works ranging from artificial rock work to giant freestanding clown face (face Marquee) this included all structural steel framing and steel fixing.• Heavily involved in managing team of over 120 people with multi skilled sub-contractors. • Other key responsibilities included controlling the budgets and necessary administrative paperwork to complete the job professionally. • Transfer documentation and responsibility regarding post-project responsibilities to relevant management staff.Key Achievements:✔ Successfully managed staff, contractors and vendors to deliver the project ahead of schedule.
