Each engagement requires working within the technical boundaries provided by the clients Enterprise Architecture into which the solutions are to be delivered; consequently Gavin has developed a practical and pragmatic approach to business process regeneration. As a result of Gavin’s development background and consultancy experience he is familiar with most mainstream enterprise technologies and industry specific communication protocols It is Gavin’s job to understand the business problem and design a solution that fits within the organisations existing enterprise structure as well as making recommendations where necessary for potential areas of improvement.Process improvement delivered through the Pega BPMS on client sites typically requires a mixture of Business Process Management (BPM) Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Business Rules Engine (BRE) skills and understanding. Gavin demonstrates a high level of understanding of all of these solution designs, both in isolation as well as within an existing Enterprise Architecture structure. Gavins also adds his considerable experience solutions required.Additionally Gavin has written a number of articles for Pegasystems that have been published in industry journals on the subject of BPM and SOA, with a particular interest in separating out the major business concerns while providing solutions that meet the businesses requirements as well as the existing ongoing IT architectures, with a view to SaaS, Cloud and virtualisation solutions.Gavin believes strongly that to be competitive in the modern business domain, companies have to take a more holistic view of their processes and move towards more componentised systems solutions a step at a time.
