Venue Manager
CurrentLeading on customer experiences, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere upon arrival and delivering excellent customer service throughout their visit.Taking charge of company communications, from drafting to sharing, including company updates, weekly newsletters, employee recognitions, and social events.Providing crucial administrative and reporting support, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly venue reporting (legionella checks, profit and loss reports, internal and external auditing, risk assessments) for the operations team and company owners.Serving as the health and safety lead, holding certifications as a trained first aider, mental health first aider, and fire marshal. Conducting and managing customer and new starter safety briefings, as well as overseeing accident reporting.Taking ownership of the risk assessment process for the London venue, ensuring compliance and safety, including organising on site visits with external companies as needed.Managing recruitment for the London venue, overseeing recruitment open days, conducting candidate interviews, and reviewing assessments.Leading on staff administration, including creating playbooks and rotas, managing labour percentages, and handling employee referencing.Managing company stock, involving tasks such as holding stock takes, placing orders, coordinating with vendors, and distributing stock while adhering to budget constraints.Ensuring records (both electronic and paper) are filed compliantly and kept ready for audits.Directly liaising with external companies and all levels of internal employees, from instructor level to Directors (Company Co-Founders).Managing kitchen, bar, and floor services, overseeing preparations, experiences, and employee responsibilities.Leading internal and external meetings with employees and external providers, including agenda creation, addressing concerns, and documenting and disseminating outcomes.
