Compassion International is a child sponsorship and Christian humanitarian aid organization whose mission is to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name. I lead and oversee security matters for Compassion’s personnel and physical assets in the LATAM/Caribbean (LAC) region. As a member of Compassion’s Global security team, I track threats and trends related to crime, civil unrest, and terrorism in LAC region. I conduct regular assessments to manage risk to personnel/physical assets and maintain continuity of ministry operations. I collaborate with Compassion executives, Response and Assistance Center/Crisis Response, and 12 national offices throughout LAC on a weekly basis. As a team, we strive to provide strategic and tactical response to global events and a proactive stance when possible to implement safe and secure measures to accomplish the mission.

Served as program director and ranking FBI agent for investigations and crisis response in the Florida panhandle, to include seven RAs.
