Streetlight Data is a subsidiary of Jacobs. Part of my work is as a software engineer on Streetlight products and the rest as Program Director of BeyondIf, Jacobs innovation initiative and internal software accelerator.I am currently Tech lead of the Streetlight Operations Solutions product family, developing a new major product line focused on operations and traffic management customers. A temporary secondment managing Jacob's BeyondIf program - the internal innovation program for Jacob's global operation of ~60,000 people. We run the internal startup incubator as well as other programs to bring innovative software to market.

- Designed and led development of complex novel mental health diagnostic tool developed with in a React/Python/Django/Kubernetes/GCP stack- Led and managed data science team working closely with the CCNR lab at the University of Cambridge and in house psychology and data science teams (including co-authoring 8 papers) using machine learning and statistical techniques- Led the analysis of clinical trial data for both scientific and business goals- Created and communicated board level technical and data strategic direction- Deployed diagnostic product in primary care during a commercial pilot and research trial with >3000 users- Closely managed an agile team of 6 developers (Python/Django, React, PostgreSQL, GCP) including planning, architectural design to code review, mentoring, stand ups, testing and deployment- Developed software under ISO 13485 medical device quality standards and ISO 27001, including co-design of the quality systems and multiple audits- Developed novel diagnostic technology using numerical and machine learning techniques, including initial work on a hybrid expert/deep learning system.- Coded large internal tooling suite in Python allowing non-technical users to safely develop complex clinical systemsAbout Psyomics: Psyomics developed software to support healthcare practitioners by providing a more comprehensive picture of a patient’s mental health and clinical need. Co-developed by psychiatrists and built on evidence-based mental health research, our digital diagnostic tools can be used to efficiently assess and triage patients at all levels, in both NHS and private mental healthcare settings.
