To lead study on a proposal for the INTEGRAL Legacy Archive in collaboration with the ISDC in Geneva.

Key member of the INTEGRAL Science Operation Centre (ISOC) responsible for the weekly, short term planning of observations carried out with the observatory, initiated and leading an ongoing project at streamlining planning and operational tasks and procedures for a maximally efficient and smooth running of the INTEGRAL observatory.

ESAC Data Analysis and Statistics WorkshopWe have been organising and hosting this workshop series yearly since 2014. Bruno Merin led the organisation for the first three years. Bruno and I worked closely mainly with Pablo Riviere and Luis Sarro. I took over the leading role in the summer of 2016 for the 2017 workshop. The SOC is now larger and more active. The plan is to continue organising and hosting this workshop on an annual basis.

Responsible for planning the Science Operations Centre activities for the M5 candidate THESEUS in study phase (A).

Supervisor of a Masters student working on modelling red noise in complex, turbulent astrophysical systems. This is a joint supervision with his primary thesis advisor, Dr Oliver Kamps, at the University of Munster in Germany. Kiril Maltsev spent his first month at ESAC in March 2017. The plan is for him to have four one-month visits to work closely with me at ESAC over the next two years.

Supervisor and mentor to two university students in the framework of the ESAC Trainee Programme. The first, Harry Holt (a second year student in Physics at Cambridge), extended my Java reader and writer classes to handle FITS and javascript. The second, James Bowler (a first year student in Maths at Cambridge), helped me explore ways to improve my current red noise simulation methods.

SAC representative on the Health & Safety Committee and Canteen Board: initiated and drove changes in improving the extent of the annual medical check-up, and quality of the follow-up and examination; formulated, led, and analysed an ESAC-wide opinion survey on the canteen; drove and oversaw changes in improving the preparation of the food, most notably redefining the salad bar's layout and contents, and the way in which meat and vegetables are prepared.
