Gordon has deep leadership experience in planning, managing, testing and implementing business systems development projects. He has experience with very large program and project management as well as leadership of small teams designed for rapid implementation. Experience includes Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Complex Database Design, and custom system development for multiple business systems over a wide range of technologies. He has worked with on-line real-time transaction processing systems for Outage Management, Distribution Management, order entry, knowledge management, WIP planning, work order management, time accounting, customer management, and human resources. He has led development of operational and business analytical systems supporting employee and customer centric systems and processes. Gordon's working knowledge of large scale system integration, performance tuning and database design has been proven on projects for multiple industries including automotive, utility, telecommunications, transportation, oil and gas, retail, criminal justice, and health care. Gordon provides technical leadership in the design of business intelligence databases using techniques including multi-dimensional modeling, entity relationship modeling, and normalized relational design. He has implemented solutions employing multiple architectures and technologies. He has a proven track record in architecting, designing, implementing and tuning transaction processing and data warehouse systems using normalized relational design, multidimensional design, and operational data stores. He has implemented systems using numerous methodologies and tools for the most complex systems and environments. Gordon has played a key role in design, development and classroom training of systems development methodologies for Price Waterhouse, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and IBM.
