The Safety Program Manager is part of a larger Safety & Emergency Management Unit within the Division, working out of the Director's Office, and will spend approximately half of the time in the field working with front-line employees and leadership on establishing, monitoring, and ensuring the enforcement of safe work practices and procedures. This position will spend the other half of the time providing complex analysis, problem-solving, and implementing the safety program and associated training. The Safety Program Manager will design, internally market, and implement programs and policies to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, County Ordinances, and labor agreements related to industrial safety and worker's compensation and disability accommodations involving represented and non-represented employees. The Safety Manager will perform site inspections and safety investigations and will serve as a field representative enforcing safety rules, laws, and regulations. * LEPC- King County Local Emergency Planning Committee Member.Plan, develop, implement, and monitor division-wide safety programs and projects that comply with federal and state statutes.Conduct site inspections, both internally and in collaboration with regulatory agencies such as King County Public Health, and monitor and enforce compliance with inspection results.Provide immediate response and support, in collaboration with management, on safety incidents. In this role, I reported to the Business Quality Manager and work with the Business Quality Team.* Based out of Seattle, WA, I will provide functional support to environmental team members located in Memphis, TN, Seattle, WA, Ipswich, UK, and Shanghai, China to maintain our ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Certifications.* Additionally, I will develop the framework for Seattle, WA facility to obtain ISO 14001:2015 Certification.* My primary role is to ensure that RedDOT continues to legally comply with all relevant environmental regulation and statutory requirements globally.* I am responsible for handling and overseeing all aspects environmental and sustainability issues at the facility, including compliance with all applicable permits, environmental rules and regulations with local, state, federal, and international environmental standards, continued conformance with ISO 14001 requirements.* I will promote environmental improvements within each facility and ensures that each facility achieves sustainability goals relative to significant aspects( water savings, energy savings, zero landfill, etc...). * Supports each facility to resolve environmental issues through identifying and determining the root causes of potential compliance problems.* I will represent RedDOT with 3rd party / customer audits and any regulatory inspections; coordinate any audit or inspection findings to ensure that responses are submitted in accordance with relevant interested parties. * Optimize operational performance and drive efficiency within environmental processes, and also conduct Red Dots Internal Environmental Auditing and Gap analysis.* Create waste stream maps of the facility and keep them updated as need.* Created Red Dots internal Janitorial program, and supervise three full time employees.

Updates the Contingency Plan (Spill Control Contingency Plan) including the site emergency contact information and evacuation map. Enhanced existing emergency action plan(s) for facility, ensuring OSHA and EPA requirements, national and local fire protection codes, and industry requirements are addressed and implemented. Prepared, operated, and fired the Avenger portable weapons systems. In the course of doing so, I would establish and maintain radio communications, and evaluate potential targets and target engagement. I used infrared to detect and engage targets, and resupply ammunition for firing. I was also tasked with performing emergency procedures for weapons systems, maintaining sight alignment on systems, and operating and maintaining system carriers.
