I have over 30 years of experience practicing in the area of bankruptcy, insolvency, business consultation, commercial litigation, corporate restructure and mediation representing distressed businesses, trustees, creditors, creditor committees, receivers and debtors. I offer consultation to businesses, in all stages of operation whether they are facing bankruptcy or not. I have experience in Business Formation, Corporate Law, and Business Litigation. For 2023, I am the vice- chair of the San Diego County Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Law Section, and previously served as the vice chair for 2017-2019, the chair for 2016-2017, 2021-2022 and the co-chair for 2015. I am currently a member of the Board of Directors of the San Diego Bankruptcy Forum and served as president in 2015 and 2016. I have also been appointed to serve on the Executive Committee of the Business Law Section (BLS) of the California Lawyers Association for 2020-2023, and as secretary for the 2022-2023 term. Along with being a mediator United States Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of California, I also serve on the court’s Advisory Committee for the Local Rules and was on the Ninth Circuit Lawyer Representative Selection Committee for the Southern District of California for 2022, 2016 and 2015. In addition, I serve on the Advisory Panel for the Bankruptcy Self-Help Center at the Bankruptcy Court through the Legal Aid Society of San Diego, and am also a member of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees Rules Committee. I’m honored to have been a recipient of several awards and honors.
