With a background that focuses on the property industry, through banking and finance and real estate I have been actively involved in the Canberra property market for the past 10 years. Holding an undergraduate certificate in Banking and Finance, I held numerous banking roles commencing with the Bank of Cyprus, St George in the ACT Property team and with the ANZ Institutional Property team. The strong banking and finance background laid a solid foundation in gaining knowledge and experience in structuring property deals, writing credit applications,, evaluating and assessing risk and providing a strong analytical background to assist with the management of an active portfolio of Canberra property clients.To diversify my property experience, I then took a role as a residential real estate agent with the Colliers International team in Canberra. This role involved growing my own personal brand as a sales agent, growing the company's brand and more importantly selling residential property for some of Canberra's leading developers. The real estate experience provided good insights into project marketing and the dedication and commitment required to be a successful real estate agent. Nicknamed "The Governor" for strong sales in the Governor Place project in Barton, my time at Colliers International was very challenging but also very rewarding. In my current role as Finance Manager at Evri Group, I leverage off both my previous roles in banking and finance and real estate to manage the Group's financing arrangements with our respective financiers. In addition to the management of the banking and finance, I also assist with the Group's insurance requirements for a portfolio of commercial, retail, industrial and residential property and with the Group's marketing and advertising. In August 2016, I graduated and received a Master of Business (Property) from UniSA. The course is required to become a commercial valuer in the ACT.
