From trades to manufacturing engineering, capital intensive purchasing, senior and executive management, board member and chairman roles within automotive, packaging and building materials industries, I landed into another preferred industry, the legal sector.Being now in a service industry, with the benefit ofsome legal grounding through previous roles and studies I set out to grasp what a lawyer wants from a business and conversely what a business wants from a lawyer. This understanding has reinforced the need for diversity, one on one as well as team coaching for skills enhancement, engagement and career progression and has culminated in a productive culture that continues to unfold and support the rapid expansion the firm has enjoyed over two years.As a manager during the 90’s recessionary period I was charged with turning around a business at the time branded a minefield by the Board and customers alike , while in another case my CEO at the time thanked me from stopping him from having nightmares.Irrespective of the conditions we are faced with at any particular point, I lead with an enquiring mind that is relentless yet empathic and resilient . I strive to ensure a result driven attitude by developing team enthusiasm that is contagious with a focus on action and follow up as well as guiding people in their development and career interests.
