Responsible for working with the Gaffer, Lighting Console Operator, and Cinematographer to facilitate all lighting and electrical needs for the production in a safe and efficient manner.• Daily Prep and Organization of lighting fixtures, stands, carts, and accessories resulting in quick deployment gear to minimize downtime between shots• Building of light fixtures for special needs such as props, accent lightings, or lighting effects to achieve “in camera” looks that support post-production workflows and virtual effects.• Maintain, and safely distribute electrical power “on the day” to all departments on set supporting the production while keeping all electrical equipment up and running. • Support the “Best Boy” in logging, organizing, and maintaining high cost lighting gear and support equipment resulting in quick access to items within our department and swapping any defective or damaged gear quickly with rental houses or third party vendors.• Support the Lighting Console Operator with programing and troubleshooting wireless DMX and CRMX protocols within modern LED light fixtures and accessories, which helps minimize cable clutter and downtime between light intensity or color changes. • Setup and create “light plots” or “light maps” that support the Lighting Console Operator, Gaffer, and Cinematographer with quick refences to the location of programed lights leading to swift modifications and adjustments in intensity and color.• In coordination with a temporary power generator operator, help maintain and monitor high voltage/amperage electrical power distribution throughout shoot days on set to properly serve production as a whole and power large voltage lights safely. • With Forklift and Mobile Elevated Work Platform certifications, drive or support the operation of heavy machinery to transport gear, equipment, or elevate large light fixtures around set.

Responsible for securing and collaborating with other independent film makers or online content creators in various roles to create high quality entertainment that is distributed throughout film festivals and online platforms such as YouTube and Vimeo. • Currently in collaboration with the YouTube channel Geekin Out to create a miniature 1/6th scale comedy parody show called Miniature Heroes that utilizes Miniature/Toy Photography and modern cinematography with elements of virtual production workflows with Unreal Engine 5 and Stop Motion Photography supported by Dragonframe software. • Supporting Geekin Out YouTube channel in producing live streaming, product photography and videos, along with guest hosting leading to a 270% steady, natural increase in subscribers and growth over the past two years• Collaborated with several independent short films, full length films, pilots, and concept videos in various departments such as, producing, assistant directing, gaffing, and camera operation, that have received a combined 35 domestic and international film festival awards and nominations.• Manage and maintain working gear such as cameras and lenses, lights, light modifiers (grip gear), stands, audio recorders and microphones, supporting the creation of quality and time effectiveness of projects. • Consistent research about new techniques, trends, and technologies that provides the skills and gear to create the next project, its vision, and productivity.• Created logos, typography, and motion graphics for projects based on the need of production to support audience capture rates. • A full list of productions and my role for both Independent and Union productions is available.
