I have over 25 years of public service experience. My first career path was as 9-1-1 operator, Police/Fire/Emergency Services Dispatcher, Trainer, and SWAT Liaison. I dispatched in Florida, Georgia, and Texas.I received numerous commendations and awards. After earning my MLS degree in 2004, I was able to transition to library work in Wisconsin. I taught computer classes, performed reference and programming duties, and produced the staff newspaper in Salem, WI. After returning to Georgia in 2008, I have worked as a supervisor in Georgia's second largest Public Library system. I run a monthly chess club and perform scheduling, payroll, training, and collection development duties. I recently became certified and process passports for the U.S. Department of State as a Acceptance Agent at the Grayson Library Facility.
