We had a few months to port the pre-payment platform and migrate the U-Link customers to the Belgacom-ICS infrastructure.The U-Link integration team was given the team of the quarter award in December 2008.The U-Link integration team was also given the "employees award" at the Belgacom Group Awards in April 2009.

This includes good knowledge of MySQL, Apache, Sendmail, etc..Maintaining Windows boxes (WinXP, Win2003 Server + Exchange)- R&D:Help developers to debug h323/sip stack whenever a problem occurs.

The first VOIP only carrier in Belgium - (H323)Mission: Create a wholesale carrier from scratch.Role: R&D + Implementation.All backbone design & implementation, together with VOIP provisioning was under my responsabilities. Some programmation skills were also required. Most in php (+html), Delphi, Ansi-C, in order to create the following: Web site, prepayment solution, provisioning automation tools.An alternative offered to customers, using 64kb leased line(s) and achieving 8-10x compression for commercial purpose for the first time in Belgium.This setup was greatly reducing the costs of both the company and the customers. Today, this is normal practice and slowly becoming the "standard", with some possible adaptation (the transport of the packets may have changed, but techniques are still the same for the VoIP part)This setup was awarded by Cisco as the most advanced use to date of their equipment in a VoIP commercial environment.
