- In the 20th Century I started first as system engineer and later as IT manager of the KBC Lease company based in Brussels, Belgium.- In 2000 I founded E-DEO n.v. with Wim Evenepoel. E-DEO moved from a servicing company in automatic translation software towards a very successful company that implements and services digital dictation systems and automatic speech recognition in Belgian based hospitals.- In 2008 I stepped into Nalantis as a consultant and co-created with Jan Van Sas and Frank Platteau an HR Concept Net and semantic technology as a technical component that is used in different job platforms nowadays. - At this moment Nalantis is a partner in a European Drone project, together with Verses and the University of Maastricht where our contribution is to convert national and European legal drone related content into machine readible instructions that can be understood by a drone for executing operations. - Together with a smart technical team I conceived a UNIQUE competence analyzer for the Belgian Public Employment Service VDAB and for the European ESCO. This competence analyzer is becoming a core component in job matching and labour market statistics.
