Over the course of three to six months, interns are given the opportunity to contribute to the in-field water quality monitoring projects of a prestigious nonprofit organization in the Teton Valley. Over the course of three to six months, interns are given the opportunity to contribute to the in-field water quality monitoring projects of a prestigious nonprofit organization in the Teton Valley. My accomplishments as a project manager and internship participant included the following:• Built a remote storage shed as a contact-free drop site for shared field testing equipment, and developed a sanitation protocol to reduce COVID-19 exposure risk between interns.• Performed routine water quality field assessments for 27 river sites and 6 wells in East Idaho(evaluation parameters: temperature, pH, conductivity, TDS, DO, nitrates/nitrites, phosphates, turbidity, discharge, macroinvertibrate survey, habitat assessment).• Organized a master spreadsheet to perpetually facilitate remote data entry by multiple teammates• Managed coordination, performance, and data analysis of soil infiltration field tests for 5 farms.• Authored training protocols and initial data reports of soil infiltration tests.• Trained 11 interns on instrument maintenance, weekly calibration, inventory, and data entry.
