Data driven analyst, with a drive for changing business decisions through data derived insights. I have been working with data from the start of my career - which has taken me along different paths, and added to my key understanding of what businesses are built upon. I have a passion for coding, and love building solutions out to ease up the manual grind required. With a fundamental understanding that most businesses still operate a lot within spreadsheets - I have made that a very core part of my stack. Python and SQL form up the other part of my stack. My foundations started in a junior finance role and it helped develop my business first approach to decision making - progressing onto being a systems administrator for the SYSPRO ERP then developed my understanding of business systems schemas - which gives me a fantastic building block for almost all business related queries. Working directly under the c-suite, within that role - lit up my passion for insightful reporting, and ultimately steered me towards focusing more on data analytics. As a team player, or individual - I find passion in both domains. Connecting people is just as important is connecting tables, and I strive to be a keystone between non-technical concepts and the technicality behind the delivery. From fast moving consumer goods, through to luxury purchases - data remains vital, and profitability through optimisation remains a common core. I am always open to new connections and opportunities.
