Along with a doctoral degree in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from the Indian Institute of Management Indore and a master’s degree (in 1993) from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, Geetha Krishnan has more than 30 years of experience across multiple sectors — advertising, online learning, entrepreneurship development, and management education and professional development — in various senior management and leadership capacities. His particular areas of research and teaching interest are entrepreneurship (especially women entrepreneurship), social entrepreneurship and developing an entrepreneurial mindset.When Geetha was Director — Centre for Executive Education at the Indian School of Business from 2009 to 2016, he managed the 10,000 Women entrepreneurship development programme in India for seven years, providing formal business education and mentorship to almost 1500 women across the country. Subsequently, he also consulted with Babson College and the University of Leeds in designing the same programme, both in the online format and in the classroom format across multiple countries. Geetha has also been involved in judging business plan presentations of women entrepreneurs at the Indian School of Business and mentoring early stage women entrepreneurs.
