A significant achievement, Gemma completed the challenging project of a dynamic, fully integrated membership website for the Design Business Association on time and on budget. This allowed large organisations such as Sainsburys, Waitrose, Tesco to select, shortlist, and engage with design agencies via the website, and for the design agencies to manage their business, financial and design portfolio via the website with real time updating to the back office database.The organisation itself does not provide guidance on project methodologies, which allowed Gemma to implement flexible Agile tools and processes to suit each project. These included daily standups with the development team, Extreme Programming (XP) practices such as pair programming, and empowering the team to be responsible for delivering working, solution focused software.
