With 12 years of experience, I feel lucky to be able to work in an industry I love and have the opportunities to create work I am passionate about.Starting as an artworker at an eLearning company to Senior UX/UI Designer at Together agency. I have gained such a wide range of creative skills allowing me to work on so many projects over the years that I am proud to have created. Since October 2018, I have led all digital design projects to come into Together working closely with the digital account managers, creatives and developers. This has ranged from UX research pieces, digital persona workshops, insights and analysis presentations to information architecture solutions, card sorting exercises, wireframing, prototyping and fully responsive designs. Before working at Together, I was head of digital design for a start up mobile application company. Leading a team to deliver an eclectic set of digital platform solutions for brands such as Barclays, British Gas, ERT, NHS, Utility warehouse and Robin Hood Energy. My personal skills include mobile application design, web design, illustration, branding, photography, project and people management.Managing a creative team has shown me that I can motivate a team to get excited about their work, develop their skills through mentoring to make their design responses stronger and push myself to create the opportunities for them to show their talents by establishing good relationships with colleagues.Working closely with strong development teams, has given me a great understanding of how to design effectively for digital, making me more aware of technical capabilities, timeframes for production and development handover processes. I pride myself on my attention to detail and passion and ability to learn new skills. This gives me the capability to have ‘out-of-the-box’ ideas and make them a reality.I love working in a collaborative environment, as I believe design is subjective and being challenged about your own work shows allows you to self-critiques, see things from a different perspective all collating into a better creative solution.
