Business Psychologist, interested in helping businesses improve employee wellbeing. More detail:I achieved a First Class Honours degree in BSc Psychology from Plymouth University in 2017. Having worked for the NHS in mental health services for 2 years, I then decided to undertake an MSc in Occupational and Organisational Psychology at the University of Surrey, graduating in September 2020 with Distinction. I have since been working in Talent Acquisition. I aim to pursue a career as an Occupational Psychologist, working closely with organisations to improve their effectiveness and contribute to culture change that will subsequently improve employee wellbeing. Diversity and Inclusion is also a passion of mine and is an area I would ultimately like to become an expert in. Particular interests include diversity & inclusion, change management, leadership, organisational behaviour, talent acquisition and employee wellbeing. Strengths include teamwork, clear communication skills and the ability to multi-task. Having worked in patient facing roles as an assistant psychologist, I am approachable, can communicate with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, and am able to deal with emotionally charged situations in a caring and safe way.
