I am a passionate Operations Manager/Area Manager, with over 15 years experience within hospitality and retail. I am passionate about delivering results and believe that people underpin this. I enjoy developing bench strength and helping people reach their full potential. I am an inspiring and motivating leader who is not afraid to get my hands dirty. My previous role as Operations Manager within Tesco Family Dining I led a team of 19 businesses throughout the North East. I was responsible for all aspects of the day to day operation, whilst motivating and inspiring my team to surpass all financial targets. The TFDL business was formed less than a year ago, as such all teams were tupied across from two different previous providers. Over the first year I have worked closely with my team to develop a more customer orientated culture, successfully implementing new marketing strategies, menu's, IT systems, HR policies. This was reflected in our half year results. TFDL also have an aggressive Re-model programme which led to the sucessful management of the closing and re-opening of businesses within the new format. As Operations Manager for SSP, I led a team of 14 businesses within SSP's Pubs and Bars division. During my time within the role we developed standard operating procedure's, changed the structure to maximise sales and opportunity, developed bench strength, implemented various new marketing strategy's all of which culminated to a very successful years business surpassing all budget's and targets.
