Working in close partnership with all areas of the business to provide decision makers with accurate, timely and compelling MI/BI. Key Responsibilities• Work collaboratively with all areas of the business to implement automated reporting solutions via Tableau and SSRS, making sure to tailor reports and dashboards to suit audience needs. • Analyse historical segmentation data and produce Cohort analysis to identify trends and patterns that can inform a better understanding of products and services.• Provide advice, guidance and training to other members of the business using Excel and Tableau, to improve self-sufficiency and awareness• Use SQL skills for data mining and integration across multiple systems, using both Oracle and MS SQL Server • Work closely with Data Engineers and BI Developers to work on accessibility of data, best practices and data quality• Diagnose reporting issues and implement fixes whilst enforcing data governance standards set by the business Achievements• Recently lead a project to automate the businesses HR reporting, this involved moving outdated reports from Excel to Tableau, saving two employees over three days a month • Created a group wide summary of recruitment figures for the Executive Leadership Team. This was the first time data from all areas of the business had been aggregated and displayed in one dashboard• Changed the way our Dental side of the business defined joiners and leavers, a request from the MD. This was technically challenging as all SSRS reports had to be re written and tested.
